Seal Slough

thin, tranquility, departure

I’ve always been intrigued by the combination of fine art and graphic design. I want to make something that departs from the norm or trend, but at the same time popular in society. When I create, I first start from myself and find myself through the chaos, instead of carving myself into the zeitgeist.

I took these photos three years ago at Seal Slough, next to my house. This view lasted 10 minutes. I could smell, see, and hear the violet, pink, orange...until they turned dark. This is my memory of California, and I did a pastel drawing of the sunset.
